Meet the writer

Short and sweet. I was raised, and graduated college in Delaware. I served 6 years as an Air Force Intelligence officer living in Texas, Utah and D.C. area before eventually returning to raise a family in Delaware. I worked in marketing for the financial services industry for many years, co-owned a small business and spent the past 17 years as a high school history teacher. After my brother suddenly passed away in early 2026, the grief motivated me to make some changes. I decided to “retire” and focus on new experiences (hopefully with enough money). My life challenges, both internal and external, motivate my emotion focused writing. I am grateful for my wife’s support in retiring and that my adult daughter and son are much better versions of me!
